Job Description:  On the Money – Money Mentor & Financial Education Intern  20 Hour - 7 week  Employee
Job Responsibilities:
      Interns will conduct and assist with financial education presentations for youth employees through One Summer Chicago; Interns will assist with organizing, facilitating and leading the financial capability portion of youth employee orientations; Interns will assist with development of additional financial education content and data entry. 
Part Time Money Mentor/Financial Education Intern Job Duties:
  • Conduct financial education presentations to One Summer youth employees 
    • Hybrid (virtual and in-person) presentations.
    • Responsible for travel to various youth employment sites within the City of Chicago when scheduled. 
  • Complete training on the financial education presentation and materials. 
  • Track and report youth participants for each site. 
  • Data entry: Keep track of survey information, etc. having youth complete online event surveys or Saves pledges . 
  • Assist with interviews, focus groups, surveys, etc. for related research.
  • Report status updates to respected manager & team lead daily/weekly.  
  • Work on teams to develop additional financial capability content to be shared via video, webinar, newsletter, magazine article, presentations, etc.
  • Adhere to program procedures and policies and complete projects in a timely manner as needed and directed.
Skills and Qualifications:
Public speaking/ Presentation Skills, Financial education experience or knowledge, Time Management, Data reporting, General Computer Skills, Working with Others, Work Independently, Business experience of knowledge. All interns must be age 18 or over by June 20th.
20 hours per week/ $15 per hour/ 7 weeks
Work Day: Normal schedule Monday - Thursday,  9:30 to 3pm with 30 minute lunch (some special schedules as needed)

Accepted articles may be published on & may receive a $25 stipend.
