On the Money magazine is a by teens for teens professional publication that provides over 9,000 youth with financial and entrepreneurship education information three times each year. Our goal is to empower teens with the knowledge and skills to manage their finances wisely and pursue their entrepreneurial dreams.

OTM Fall Internship
Part Time (Sept - Dec)
Must be a Chicago high school student
Love to write? On the Money Magazine (OTM) is a by-teens for-teens publication. Each semester, high school interns from across the city of Chicago come together to research and publish articles relating to finance and entrepreneurship. We are looking for teens interested in writing an article for our next edition of On the Money Magazine. This internship will take place in association with DePaul University's Writing Center. In addition to writing an article for the magazine, you will gain skills in building a resume, financial literacy, public speaking, writing, and interviewing skills.
Interviews will tentatively be held in September. The internship will run through the end of December 2026. Students are encouraged to submit their resumes and writing samples prior to their interview. (They can be attached to this application at the end.)
